Two codes stood side by side on that image, printed at the same size. Both lead here, to this page. The only difference is how much they carry.
You got here without scanning — that works too.

The two codes sit on the same image and both lead here. Seen side by side, they need no explanation.
The long code isn't printed worse.
It simply carries its whole address along — including the parameters you measure a campaign with. A QR code grows with its payload, and what grows gets finer at the same print size. Finer means: step closer, print cleaner, forgive fewer scratches.
The identifier inside a SmarterQR code is seven characters long; with the domain that makes 33, and it stays there — even at the two-hundredth code. Where it leads, and what gets counted, lives on the other side, where it can change without anyone going back to press.
